The United States Forest Service makes some hunting opportunities available for hunters with disabilities. The opportunities, requirements and availability vary. For more information on the hunting opportunities available for hunters with disabilities, contact the Forest Service Ranger District in the area you wish to hunt. The Idaho Department of Fish and Game has two portable, trailer mounted deer blinds available for use by hunters with disabilities. The portable blinds were donated by the Paralyzed Veterans of America and are available at no charge. Priority is given to paralyzed veterans, followed by veterans with disabilities, and then any hunter with a disability. To reserve one of the blinds, contact the Panhandle or Southeast Region office.
