Nondiscrimination Policy
The Idaho Department of Fish and Game is committed to a policy of compliance with the current requirements of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, the Age Discrimination Act of 1975, Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972, and Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990.
To accomplish this policy in each of the following areas, the Department shall assure that:
Title VI: All services, programs, and activities of this Department will be offered, conducted, or administered fairly without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, handicap, or national origin of the participants or benefactors.
Section 504 and Title II: No qualified person with a disability is, on the basis of that disability, excluded from participation in, denied benefits of, or otherwise discriminated against in any program or activity conducted or sponsored by the Department.
Age Discrimination Act: No person is discriminated against on the basis of age in programs or activities conducted or sponsored by the Department, except where certain age requirements are mandated by law.
Title IX, Education Amendments of 1972: No person, on the basis of sex, is excluded from participation in, or denied benefits, of any education program conducted or sponsored by the Department.
