The Idaho Big Game Records shown are compiled from the Idaho Department of Fish and Game files and the available official records of both the Boone and Crockett Club and the Pope and Young Club. Any discrepancy in an entry score received from more than one of these sources will be reviewed and the score that will be entered in the Record Book will be selected from the source in the order shown above.
Rules for Entering Trophies
Prior to an official measurement, the animal's skull, antlers or horns must be air dried for at least 60 days from the date of kill. All measurements entered into the Idaho Big Game Records must be measured by a designated Department employee or an official measurer of either the Boone and Crockett Club or Pope and Young Club. Contact a Department office for a preliminary measurement form and a list of local measurers. Should your entry appear to make minimum score for entry into the record book, contact a designated measurer. There is no charge for entry.
