MK Nature Center
School Field Trips
The MK Nature Center offers education programs year round for school groups. Wildlife educators instruct students about Idaho wildlife and the importance of habitat with an informative lesson and guided walk along the Nature Center path. Programs are scheduled Monday through Friday at 9:30 a.m., 11:00 a.m., and 1:00 p.m. The cost is $1.00 per student. There is no charge for teachers or chaperones. Checks should be made out to the Idaho Department of Fish & Game. To schedule a field trip, call (208) 334-2225. Please allow two weeks advance notice; a month or more is advised if scheduling for spring.
Looking for something a little different? Consider our new custom program offerings. These programs feature hands-on activities on a variety of subjects, including owl pellets, aquatic insects and fish, composting, native plants, and more. Cost is $1.50 per student. Link to the flyer in the sidebar for more details.
