Mike Chupa, of Twin Falls, and his record 17 pound 12 ounce, 33 inch long, walleye. Chupa caught the fish in Goose Creek Reservoir and battled for nearly 15 minutes before it was landed. He was using a crank bait, 10 pound FireLine with 10 pound Stren Fluorocarbon leader.
