Live the Wild Life!
The Idaho Fish and Wildlife Foundation's Annual Trip Auction Is Going on Now

CUTS #10, 11, 12, 13, 14
BACKGROUND: Curious about what a Fish and Game wolf biologist does? Ever wanted to see the wild horses of Idaho in their natural habitat? Wilderness enthusiasts can experience Idaho's great outdoors first hand with the 17th Annual Idaho Fish and Wildlife Foundation's Fundraiser auction. Sponsored in conjunction with the Idaho Department of Fish and Game, this online auction is currently accepting bids and will conclude on Friday, March 23rd at 7:00 PM, Mountain Standard Time.

To participate, internet users will first go to the Idaho Fish and Wildlife website at www.ifwf.org, to find a directory of all the trip opportunities listed. To bid, individuals can simply follow the links provided on the website and fill out the required data. Participants will be notified via email if someone has outbid them. Winning bids will include a 3.45% credit card fee and 35 cent transaction charge. Sales tax will also be included on land based trips.

This year's auction includes 22 trips ranging from white water adventure getaways, to bird watching, to walking in the footsteps of Lewis and Clark, to a limited edition cutt throat print or a 3 day trip backpacking through the remote Idaho wilderness. These trips are unique and provide winners with the opportunity to experience Idaho's landscape as well as gain insight from an experienced guide or Fish and Game staff biologist.

Proceeds from the auction will go toward conservation projects. Last year's proceeds helped fund hunter education programs throughout the state and student shooting ranges in Jerome and Lewiston.

The auction was moved online last year to provide more people within Idaho and outside the state the ability to participate in the fundraising event.

For more information on the online auction and a detailed description of all the trips available for bidding, visit the Idaho Fish and Wildlife Foundation website at www.ifwf.org. Follow the links provided to register and begin the bidding process.
