Who is Eligible For LIP
- You must be a private landowner. Organizations working with private landowners can apply on behalf of the landowner(s).
- Technical assistance is available to any landowner.
- At-risk plants or animals must occur on or in the near vicinity of your proposed LIP project.
- Your proposed project will enhance or restore habitat for at-risk plants or animals.
- You must be willing to sign a landowner agreement and agree to maintain LIP-funded habitat enhancement or restoration projects for an agreed-upon length of time.
- The land for which you wish to request funds and implement the LIP project on, is within a LIP focus area.
